Report a rarity

The Slovenian Rarities Committee collects and independently evaluates data on observations of rare bird species in Slovenia. All the records, both accepted and rejected, are published in annual reports.

Reliable data on observations of rare bird species are the basis for future ornithological research. Every birdwatcher should be familiar with the list of species, evaluated by the committee, and submit their records in a timely manner. Only good cooperation between the observers and the committee will enable us to further the knowledge about the occurrence of rare species in Slovenia.
